John Edwards in Phoenixville

LynneSin and I went to see John Edwards in Phoenixville this afternoon. It was a gorgeous day and he looked great. he criticized Bush and Cheney pretty hard, talked about the Kerry-Edwards plans for both domestic policies and Iraq/terrorism, and ends on an upbeat note talking about inclusiveness and hope.



The only protesters there were about ten people in white coats holding "Doctors for Bush" signs. They looked pretty ridiculous, talking about how Bush is going to fix the health care crisis. Edwards even touched on this in his speech when he noted that Bush has had 4 years to do something about health care, so it's pretty ridiculous for him to be outlining his health care plan in his re-selection speech.

my brother tried to get my repug. parents to go but they refused - then he said he forgot!

I couldn't see the whole crowd as it was assembled on a hill and I was at the bottom, but I'd say at least 500.
