Looking for housing for 2 wks while I volunteer at the Astrodome.

Hi, Texas!

I'm a UU clergy person in Denver who wants to take up the Harris County call for Astrodome volunteers. I just graduated in May and am unemployed and in job search. I figure, why not take advantage of my unemployment and figure out a way to get down there to help?

Of course, because I'm unemployed I can't afford a hotel. I'll be borrowing money from friends and relatives to get down there and eat. So I am posting asking for a place (or places) to stay while I volunteer. Reply here or pm me if you or someone/place you know can host me.

3. I would check out Justitia's link....

supposedly the UU's have a list of homes where folks can stay; kind of an informal B & B sort of operation. I'd daresay Houston has some of those homes.
