A few days ago I started a post that asked the question of how Texas DUer's felt about Perry not lowering the falg to half staff. I made a mistake and left some words out. What I meant to ask was how do Texas Duer's fell about Perry not lowering the flag to half staff for the death of soldiers from Texas. I did not realize my mistake until today. So what do DUer's think

1. Flags are currently in the mourning position here, however

I suspect this is because of the seemingly endless Reagan memorial. Hays County is constructing a Veteran's Memorial though, which I am delighted about.

With regards to Gov. Perry's decision, I am far from surprised. Any mention of the deaths of Americans is considered pessimistic and unpatriotic by the conservatives.
