National Conference of State Legislature Redistricting Director Tim Storey... just began taking calls.... they are asking for calls from here in particular... all I gotta say is
Just brought up the use of old census data in one of the cases...
NO LAMAR SMITH IN AUSTIN.... having carved up districts was a an attack on Lloyd Doggett who is my true representative!!!!!!!!!!

and said we jsut took 10 years to go to far when it took 40 years for Democrats.
Another republican (woman this time) said, "I can understand why the Democrats fled the state"
As a distant family member of one of the Texas 11, I can say.... I was proud of her decision even ithough it was unsuccessful....
