DFTers are united - next to W, the person we most want to see back in Texas is Tom DeLay. (Wow, talk about the ultimate sacrifice!) Here’s your chance to help - it’s like Iowa but warmer. September 11-12, people from all over Texas will come together in Houston to block walk for Richard Morrison.
The Morrison campaign has planned a full weekend, but you can take part in whatever part you can make. Meet in Houston at 11:00 on Saturday, get trained, have lunch, then hit the streets! After talking to all those Morrison supporters, you’ll enjoy an evening event. If you can stay on Sunday, brunch and more block walking is scheduled for the afternoon.
Housing will be provided by volunteers in Houston, or you can make your own arrangements. However you want to do it - be there! Contact Melissa Taylor, volunteer coordinator at melissa@morrisonfor22.com.
