Perry is a national joke at this point. Unfortunately he is from Texas. Along with some other national jokes including Kinky Friedman.

Schwarzenegger was a national joke at one point and quite a few took quite a few pointed jabs at California.

Imagine the reaction if Kinky Friedman becomes the Democratic candidate and remember that in early 2006 he was invited to run as a Democrat.

3. If Kinky actually becomes the Democratic candidate,

then people here can bash Texas Democrats all they want. I can't believe (sure hope) that would actually happen, though.
