Palin condemns term used by Perry adviser

AUSTIN – On the eve of a campaign appearance in Texas for Rick Perry, Sarah Palin served notice that she's not happy the governor's top political adviser used the word "retarded" to describe campaign logistics.

Rick Perry's rally Sunday in the Houston area will feature Sarah Palin.Dave Carney, Perry's longtime political guru, used the word several times in a conference call about arrangements for the first gubernatorial debate last month sponsored by KERA.

During the call among campaign representatives, Carney complained that one candidate holding room would be in a different building than the debate.

Olbermann: Palin won’t force Limbaugh apology for ‘retard’ slurs

MSNBC's Keith Olbermann wants to know when -- or if -- Sarah Palin will ask her ideological ally Rush Limbaugh to apologize for repeatedly using the word "retarded" on the air, days after Palin demanded that White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel resign for using the word himself.

In a Facebook note Monday, Palin, whose son Trig has Down Syndrome, called on President Obama to "show decency ... by eliminating one member of inner circle, Mr. Rahm Emanuel" over Emanuel's declaration that leftist Democrats are "fucking retarded" for pushing a progressive agenda.

Double standard, right?

Funny thing is I've heard she uses the same name to describe her kid. Well that's according to Levi Johnson anyway.
