I love the guy but as a precinct chair I am not allowed to endorse any candidate. Right? Anyone have knowledge about this? After the primary, then signs? Thanks.

Our local candidates here seek the support of the chairs.

I appreciate your sense of ethics here, but there is absolutely nothing wrong with endorsing a candidate in the primary and being a precinct chair. I used to be on the Texas Democratic Party Executive Committee, so I do know about things like this. As a side note, I was on the committee when Bill White was the State Chair.
Besides, you're endorsing the right candidate anyway.

| 4. Your endorsement is actually very important |

Precinct chairs do a lot of organizing. So feel free to let people know who you support. Especially in the other races like supporting Hank Gilbert.

I send an endorsement letter to my likely voters with my picks, and also encourage them to look at a sample ballot and read about the candidates on their own.
With such a long ballot, I want my voters to be prepared.
I also make it clear that these are my opinions based on having met the candidates and doing my own research, and that I do not speak for the county Democratic Party, which does not make endorsements.
I also ask them to be sure to vote for all Democrats in non-contested races, as a show of support for the party.
And, yes, my yard is full of signs!
