Message from Hank Gilbert:

Happy Texas Independence Day! 174 years ago, the people of this state won their independence and the ability to elect their own leaders. I hope you'll take a moment tomorrow when you're at the polls and think about how far we've come as a state since 1836. Voting truly is one of the biggest contributions any of us will make to history... you are creating the future for youself and your family by casting your ballot.
These past few months I have traveled across Texas meeting men and women like you who want to see our state do more to make our food safe, promote biofuels and green energy, build a real marketing organization for Texas agricultural products and help those less fortunate than ourselves. You are the reason I'm proud to call myself a Texas Democrat and why I'm running to be your Commissioner of Agriculture.
Although we are down to the wire, I still need your help.
If you have not yet voted in the Democratic Primary, there is still time to do so. You can vote until 7 p.m. tonight at your local precinct polling place.
Click here to find your polling place.
In a race like this,
every vote truly does count, and I'm asking on yours. Please, take a friend with you to the polls and vote for Hank Gilbert, Democrat for Agriculture Commissioner.
Hope y'all have a wonderful day!
