Luci Baines Johnson has been admitted to the Mayo Clinic for test for an undetermined illness. They believe it is a rare and serious auto-immune disorder that just became apparent Wednesday.

SUNDAY UPDATE: According her longtime physician, Dr. Dudley Youman, Luci Baines Johnson has made significant improvement in the past 24 hours. Her physicians are encouraged that her case of Guillain-Barré syndrome may be less severe than usual. She will remain in intensive care a while longer for close observation.

3. I was just coming to post the update............
Wonderful news! It's not going to be an easy road, but Lady Bird's youngest has an amazing footsteps to follow and I'm sure her story will be an inspiration to others. Now she needs to hurry back to Texas while the wildflowers are blooming.
