Meet the Statewides: Jeff Weems for Railroad Commissioner
Texas Democratic Party

Dear fellow Democrat,

Meet Jeff Weems, Democratic candidate for Texas Railroad Commissioner. Jeff is an oil and gas attorney by trade, and brings a lifetime’s worth of experience to the Railroad Commission. We’ve been spotlighting Jeff all this week on the TDP website, in this fifth week of our “Meet the Statewides” campaign.

http://www.txdemocrats.org/weems/">Visit the TDP website to watch Jeff’s video and learn more about what makes him a great candidate.

Jeff Weems has traveled to over half the counties in Texas, informing voters about his platform and what the Commission does. He has impressed audiences of both consumers and oil and gas industry professionals with his in-depth grasp of oil and gas issues. His platform focuses on creating jobs and maintaining a strong energy industry, the importance of treating everyone equally in front of the Commission, and taking care of Texas’ resources.

Be sure to visit the TDP website to watch Jeff’s video, read his full biography, and learn why the Amarillo Globe-News called his credentials “superior”. We’re proud to have Jeff Weems on our statewide ticket – and we hope you’ll enjoy learning more about Jeff and the rest of our excellent candidates.

Your fellow Democrat,

Boyd L. Richie
Chairman
Texa Democratic Party

1. Arguably the most powerful position in Tx politics. Maybe just below Lt. Gov...

but certainly above Gov.

on edit: what is his position on urban drilling and setbacks?

2. Let's ask him - Jeff is a longtime DU member
He changed his DU name when he started running for Railroad Commissioner and now posts as jeffweemsforRRC. I'll shoot him a pm to come answer this question. He is busy running his campaign but he'll say something I'm sure.

Here is his website
