This is what I posted on facebook to Greg Abbott a while back after I found out he was going to enlist the state of Texas into the stupid legal fight against the approved HCR bill:
Mr. Abbott,
When there are 29% of our Texas citizens who are uninsured, (which is almost, if not THE HIGHEST IN THE COUNTRY) I find it troubling and frankly disgusting that you are in agreement with other red states to try to block the Health Care Reform Bill which is so very badly needed.
You are doing a grave disservice to the citizens of this state by denying the middle-class workers and less fortunate health care, and by wasting OUR taxpayer money with YOUR frivolous lawsuit.
The Republican politicians in Texas are continuously grandstanding and have proven to be a major national embarrassment to the detriment of its citizens. The working middle-class/poor citizens of this state are very much paying attention, and we are sick and tired of the politicians in Texas who only consider the welfare of their AFFLUENT citizens, while other citizens are swept under the carpet.
We are tired of you crying the fake mantra of "Socialism" and denying help to the needy in this state, but who have no problems in taking and spending our tax dollars on projects that only hurt mainstream Texas citizens. Yes, Mr. Abbott, we're tired and hopefully we will CHANGE the status quo of this state in the very near future. I'll do all I can to make it happen.
A VERY, VERY DISGRUNTLED TEXAS CITIZEN. .
Greg Abbott June 7 at 11:46pm Report I was quite disturbed to get your message. It was not only unfounded but it was also was misdirected. We should spend more time and energy figuring out how to incentivize business owners to expand and employ more people and less on handout welfare programs. Our country is going broke and, whether you like it or not, it is time to stop the out of control spending. Although it would be great to provide free handouts to everyone, it simply is unsustainable. Revolt and civil unrest is coming, will you be ready? God loves you, now is the time to reconcile. Peace.
My reply:
So, you think my message was unfounded and misdirected? Funny, how you Republicans have conveniently decided to worry about the deficit when I and other voters heard nothing of your concern when the Bush Administration was in office and destroying the economy...hmmm. Your "BIG Businesses" are doing fine- you guys have seen to that, and they (big business) have taken care of you quite well, also. Big businesses aren't hiring because they "elect" not to. Small businesses aren't hiring because Wallstreet is sitting on the money, but you already know this. As usual Republicans "assume" that others who are less fortunate only want "free handouts". These are typical assumptions of MOST smug and arrogant Republicans. Far be it from me to try to persuade you otherwise, because for many ignorance is bliss. This country was fine until you took over the reigns, and now this country is in a downward spiral. We're in the process of correcting this gigantic mistake that was made eight years ago.

Can't believe the scumbag replied, AND I guess he and his tea party brethren are planning a "revolt and civil unrest", LOL!!! I can't wait for him to write back.
