1. Conversation didn't last long :(

But, the conversation centered around Perry avoiding to debate. Perry's folks told White that White had to release his taxes (dating back to the 90's). White did, but Perry still won't agree to a debate.

The debate over debates is starting early this year. Dallas TV Station WFAA and the Dallas Morning News are trying to put on a gubernatorial debate this fall, but they reported Monday that Gov. Rick Perry’s campaign says he won’t debate Democratic challenger Bill White until White releases more of his tax returns. White has released his 2009 returns, and says he’ll release returns for the years he runs for or holds statewide office. Perry has released his returns going back to 1991, when he first became a statewide officeholder.

The Perry camp says White needs to give voters his tax returns; the White camp says Perry is just trying to dodge a debate.

Democratic gubernatorial candidate Bill White — after weeks of nagging from Republican Gov. Rick Perry — released his personal income tax returns dating back to 2004.

That done, he says Perry should agree to a debate before the election in November.

But of course not, Slick Rick is cutting and running from White again. They've moved the goal post and now want all his returns from forever. Perry is such a coward!

White has a good chance if he can keep his campaign funds flowing, and get his message out better.
