I just heard about the Texas Tribune in the Colunbia Journalism Review

1. Actually I find the Texas Tribune to be quite good

I've been reading them for awhile now.

Maybe you know more about this particular story/industry than we do. :shrug:

I would have to say that at least on the political side they are fair - not too biased either way. They dig into both sides equally and give each side equal time to respond.

They have done some nice investigative work on education issues and campaign contributions. So like I said on that side I think they are quite good.

CJR had many good things to say about them. I don't think much of their layout, but, again, that's just me.
