| Early voted this morning in McLennan County |
|
Usual group of older rancher-looking types lined up at 8 a.m. A few younger (30-ish) in line.
Voted a straight Democratic ticket, but sorry, can't get excited over Chet Edwards. His anti-Obama commercial still has me seething.

our side will come out in numbers. In my neighborhood, we usually wait until the day of (personally, I like to see the voter count from my precinct for that day).

| 2. It was pretty busy down at the Administration building today |

granted, most of the folks voting are those who work in & around the courthouse, but it's not often I have to stand in line to vote.
There were a few races where I voted "L" but only because there wasn't a Democrat in the race. Hopefully, there will be enough pissed-off folks like me who do the same & we can break the Republican monopoly on the Supreme Court & the Court of Criminal Appeals.
