Public Hearings Scheduled for Health and Human Services Agencies





The Senate Finance Committee has begun public hearings on Senate Bill 1 (SB 1, the General Appropriations Bill) for the 2012-2013 biennium. On Monday, January 31, beginning at 10:00 a.m., DARS will provide an overview of the agency and funding requests, invited testimony only. Public testimony is scheduled to begin on Article II agencies following HHS agency presentations on Tuesday, February 1st. Public testimony will continue February 2 and is posted until February 3.
