1. Not for long

here in Round Rock. I got the afternoon off so I was hoping rain would last until I could get my nap done.

2. It was a glorious reminder of days gone by

It rained for hours here in Austin. It was a thing of beauty. May be the last wet stuff we see until October, the way this drought is playing out.

We still have about 3,000 who lost power due to the thunderstorms here in Austin. That sucks. But hey at least you can enjoy being outdoors. It's a nice 73 here!

3. It's supposed to be an active hurricane season this year.

So, maybe something less than hurricane strength will go in around Brownsville and loop up through the middle of the state :)

I only regret I could not work where I could hear the rain. I understand it was very relaxing.
