| Poll question: Election Fairness Lobby Day? |
|
Edited on Tue Jan-25-05 11:15 AM by crispini
So I attended a meeting last night with Election Protection, and we discussed the e-voting bills in front of the Texas Lege. Harryette will be testifying in front of the committee on some future date, and I suggested having an "e-voting lobby day" similar to the one that Planned Parenthood of North Texas is having. We're considering the idea & would like to get some idea of the level of interest.
Please add your comments, suggestions, etc!
edited to add: my idea would be to have a day where many activists interested in e-voting would come to Austin and dialog with their reps about the bill, possibly have a rally, that kind of thing. (I think the original post wasn't too clear!)

I don't think they would be interested in my thoughts on it, but it's a good idea.

| 2. Talk with ACLU Texas and EFF Texas - they work on this issue. |

THey might be willing to assist with your lobbying efforts.
