| GOP attack ad on Darcy Burner: "Never held elected office" |

Uh, have they noticed that Mike McGavick, their SENATE candidate hasn't either? Wow, they're really scraping the bottom of the barrel, even for them. :eyes:

Just a bit...
Is 'buttload' still an actual unit of measure in Texas?

but Dave R never held office until the repubs decided they needed a "superstar" to run against Dave Ross. They certainly define the phrase lying hypocrite.

They DO have skewed vision, but so do their constituents. Here is a portion of a letter to the editor in our local paper today. The writer was listing all of the good things the Republicans have done since GW cheated his way into office.
The list: Good Judges (oh yeah?) Bolton (That's a plus?) Rebuilding the Military. (This guy lives in a bubble) The abrupt end of a precipitous recession (For the wealthy) Followed by robust economic growth (Come on, you can live on $7.50 per hour. Give it a shot) Lower Taxation (Funny, I haven't noticed that) Significant reduction of regulation (Just don your pollution mask) Liberation of Afghanistan and Iraq (If you can outrun the bombs you're FREE) Cooperation of Libya and Pakistan (I Wouldn't Bet On It) Lowest debt in 40 years (Say Wa?) He adds: And on and on and on.
And here I've been thinking that finally the time has come when even the Repubs would stand up for America and vote their corrupt, corporate lackies out of office, but after reading that letter I see that not only do those in office lie to their constituents, their constituents lie to themselves.
Go Darcy.

What political office did Reichert hold two years ago?
I wonder if it would be fair to run an ad which states the fact that it took Reichert 20 years to catch a serial killer that he knew was guilty?
His right wing base would have probably told him to make the arrest, damn the evidence.

Come on people over there in Bellevue actually voted for him over Dave Ross???? What the hell is wrong here? Tell me the polls don't have him neck and neck against Darcy.
Anyone who supports Bush has blood on their hands as far as I'm concerned.

| 10. The lowest level politican is a sheriff |

Edited on Fri Nov-03-06 12:36 PM by Wash. state Desk Jet
A sheriff fallows orders that come down the political ladder. If thats how you view rubber stamp ,than that is correct. And that is just why they ran him.
His experience is in fallowing orders. Perhaps his attraction to Foley was that of defiance. You know Foley the good guy bad guy thing?
You know, sometimes the bad guys seem to have a point some of the time-as a deputy may see it from time to time. Or the x sheriff may just think he was in the wrong place at the wrong time, being photographed with Foley and all.
The point here is just this simple, ,being trained to fallow orders can work to the reverse of it,s intended purpose. When the x sheriff gave up his independent thinking status , he also sold himself out.
