We here at the Washington State Democrats hope you had a great Thanksgiving holiday! Thank you again for your hard work this election season!
I just wanted to let you know about a great political program in our state and ask you to consider whether you or someone you know might want to apply. The Institute for a Democratic Future (IDF) will be conducting its annual 6-month-long political training for young Democrats, ages 21-35. They are now accepting applications for the Class of 2007, its 10th class.
IDF was founded in 1997 by young people seeking to educate, motivate and inspire future Democratic and civic leaders in Washington state. Since graduating its first class in 1998, IDF has emerged as a forward-thinking institute dedicated to assisting 25 emerging leaders each year and expanding their skill and knowledge of critical issues and the political process.
If you are interested in applying or know any Democrats, ages 21-35, who may be interesed in applying, visit
