| What's up with all the teriyaki places in Seattle? |
|
I've lived all over and I've never seen anything like it. They are everywhere. I like them - it's good, healthy fast food - but there are a lot of them. Has there always been so many?

| 1. There are a lot of them here in central NM, too |

And you can't get much better than grilled meat and veggies over rice for fast food. It's a great alternative to the grease offered by the other places.

I can get a 'chicken bowl' at one place for four bucks - and it's filling and very tasty.

I've learned that you have to be VERY careful which ones you eat at.
My new mantra? Never eat at an unsecured teriyaki place.

| 6. Come to Mercer Island... |

We have 5 Teriyaki places in 6 square miles of residential... though for the same price you can get much more variety and food at a Chinese or Thai restaurant.
