| Anyone care for another snow day? |
|
Here we go again! Ugh! I'm tired of the white fluffy stuff. I live in Duvall and we haven't gotten rid of the last 6 inches and it's falling again. So far, Riverview SD is determined to carry on, but we'll see if they blink. My kid is stir crazy but the roads are still covered with snow and ice so I'm not sure I'm willing to put him on that bus.

| 1. This proves global warming is a myth |
|
Provided, of course, that you ignore record high temperatures elsewhere in the northern hemisphere right now, and the way winter starts latter and ends earlier and... and...

| 2. That right there is why I have a problem with the term "global warming" |
|
I think "global climate change" is more descriptive of the insanity that the earth is going through right now.

| 3. Ugh. I don't want another snow day. |

I was hoping for a late-arrival day, but the Seattle SD disagreed.
Are we going to have to be in school until July?

| 5. I do but am in rain/snow shadow, we got NO snow last night. |
|
bah. Our snow is rapidly disappearing and got none last night. I was amused to see schools all over W. WA closed today and we got no snow. Oh well. Stay safe and warm.

| 6. i, for one, welcome our new weather pattern! |
|
the gapers are off the road, the snow is compact & sticky (except for the ice under it that you can't see anymore). once you're off your residential street, the arterials in seattle are fine. downtown barely has any snow on the roads.
snow is pretty & white. my cat stays in snuggling more, & the dog is crazy with joy.

| 7. I'm in with a cold, looking out on the beauty |
|
I'm in a condo on Queen Anne nex to a green belt. I have a dozen bird feeders and just love watching the litle critters come out for their nourishment. I don't even mind giving the squirrels some seeds.
Since I feel like crap with this cold, at least it is nice looking out.
I know it's inconvenient and I'm glad I didn't have to climb down the steep hill to the bus stop this morning.
I rented "An Inconvenient Truth" Sunday and haven't seen it yet. That's for this afternoon.

It depresses the dog, and makes the local racoons fretful.
