| Bus from Bellingham to impeachment rally needs filling 3/1 |
|
If there was a bus hired to take people from from Bellingham down the I-5 corridor to Olympia on Thursday 3/1 for the impeachment rally and the hearing on Sen. Oemig's resolution before the legislature calling for Congress to start impeachment hearings, and if the cost per person was $15-$20 per person, would you want to ride the bus to the event?
There are some people here in Bellingham interested in arranging it, and we might be able to cooperate with others in Skagit County and Snohomish County (and maybe even King?) to help fill up the bus. Basically we could pick up people at I-5 exits.
Senator Oemig deserves as much support as we can give him.
Please email me privately at: nancy {at} turtlehome.com with your reply so we don't clog up this list.

| 2. Bus form Kirkland also |
|
A chartered bus will depart from the South Kirkland Park and Ride at 11:00 AM this coming Thursday, March 1st and arrive at the Capitol Building in Olympia at approximately 1:00 PM for the Impeachment rally. The bus will leave Olympia at 4 PM and arrive back at the Kirkland Park and Ride around 6 PM. The bus is a very comfortable touring bus, with DVD player, reclining seats and a bathroom.
Reservations can be made by return email or by phoning Judith at 425 830 2323. The approximate cost of the trip is $17.00 +/- depending on the number of persons who sign up. So, get your friends on board.
There is plenty of storage space for signs and any other gear you'd like to bring along....snacks, a back pack, etc.
Directions to the park and ride will be coming out on Tuesday.
Please make your reservation as soon as possible. We expect a full bus. A pick up in Seattle may be possible if there are quite a few who reserve from that side of the lake.
You know this is a critical mass event. Please distribute this email to your lists.
