| Last Winter was cold, wet, and violent |
|
Spring was merely cold and wet. Summer started off dry, but cooler than normal. Then it also got wetter than normal. September, often our finest month, has been cool, and damp. Yesterday was pleasant, but at 4:30 the sun had already sunk below the treeline across the way. Today is gray. It isn't raining, but it's not exactly not raining either. I'm sure we'll have some nice weather in Occtober, but I think I'll just go by the NAPA store and grab a new set of wiper blades for the pickup. Maybe I'll look at tire chains while I'm there. We need more candles and a new wick for the oil lamps too. Maybe I better make a list.

| 1. I was just pondering the same thing--realizing I should re-stock the emergency supplies |

since last winter depleted most of them. I think we counted up that, in total for the winter, we were without electricity for 12 days.
My worry-wart personality also thinks it might be wise to stock up on things in case we really do attack Iran. One of these days, our country's actions will begin to have an effect on our complacent, satiated lives.
