I was a delegate at the Kitsap Cty Democratic convention on Sat.

Big enthusiastic crowd. I believe the delegate breakdown was 75% Obama and 25% Clinton.

1. Hi! I was a delegate there, too. Were you part of the big group--

Legislative District 23/1st Congressional District? I'm in the North Kitsap area so that's my district.
I attended in 2004, which although smaller, was more energetic than yesterday--also, the floor was opened up in 2004 before the delegate vote for people to talk about the platform, which was very interesting and provocative.
I loved that so many people wanted to become delegates for the state convention in Spokane. I was on the Obama side of the gym, and there were nearly 70 people who gave a quick, 30 second speech on why they wanted to be delegates for the June convention.
Overall, I was impressed--it was well organized and the crowd seemed diverse.

2. I am in the tiny LD23/CD6. We went outside. We had only 5 delegates to elect.

Not like your 29. I also was a Obama delegate. I would like to have gone thru the platform but was told it would be late. How late was it before your group got done?
