It was decided by a hair last go around and Gregoire isn't as popular as she deserves to be. The smears, between letting pedophiles run free and forgoing Indian Gambling income may turn many away from marking their boxes for her. I'm hoping that a huge Obama vote will turn things Christines way and Rossi will go back under that rock where he belongs.

He seems to have more ads on TV than Gregoire.

Frankly, I am more worried about the Gregoire/Rossi race than I am about the Obama/McCain race. After what happened in '04, I don't know how this will turn out.

I had to talk a lot of my friends out of voting for Rossi last time, because they had bought into Rossi's lying spin.

If he is elected, I think things will look mighty ugly for us.

It is frightening to say the least! I can't believe he is getting to them, and some of these are people who are otherwise knowledgeable..but I find that some are more into world news than local so can debunk Mccain spin but not Rossi. bad bad sign. I really dislike canvassing, and myself don't like unannounced visitors, but that's supposed to be the best way to have an effect so maybe I will bite the bullet this weekend. anyone want to join me?

But his own ads are full of lies and distortions as well.

The Repuke Governors are desperate to steal Washington. They have been trying to take over this state for years, which is why you have far right hate groups like the "Discovery Institute" and the "Evergreen Freedom Foundation" (which hates both trees and freedom) popping up around here.

Also, the Repukes want to gerrymander this state so they can pick up some Congressional seats, that they would never win in an actual election. (Thom Hartmann was just talking about this)
