IMPACT No H8 Rally/Vigil in Tacoma Tomorrow

In solidarity with our LGBT friends First United Methodist Church (621 Tacoma Avenue South) will be hosting a rally/vigil in response to the passage of Proposition 8 in California. This will be one of over two hundred such events across the United States. The events are to be time coordinated in each city to take place at the same time as the others. Because we are in the Pacific Time Zone, our time has been designated at 10:30 AM

There will be a dessert and snack potluck after the vigil so that we can network and talk strategy. Participants are asked to bring a snack or dessert to share if they are able to...also appropriate signs, banners, ribbons etc. If there are those who have cameras and can take pictures to put on the net, that would be great!! Dress according to the weather, we will be outside for part for the event.

Parking is available in back of the Tacoma School District Headquarters at South 7th and G Streets.
