http://www.washblog.com/story/2008/12/12/174215/02Quietly, but steadily and aggressively, Washington State has declared War on the Black Family.
This war features soldiers with many different uniforms - police blues, judges robes, prosecutor pinstripes, legislators red ties and the everyman wear of our juries and citizens at large, many of whom are blissfully unaware of the stark immoral carnage wrought by our own quiet little domestic civil war.
Despite our quirky, liberal image, Washington State is one of America's leaders in the War on the Black Family - a war that goes on despite increasingly exponential casualties - bulging prisoner rolls, misery inflicted on African-American families, a false sense of security and now, given dwindling public resources, inexcusable fiscal waste.
