inhaling helium. Stephanie Miller sounded the same this morning. They aren't with the same broadcasting company, so I don't know if it's just KPTK in Seattle or what. It's weird.

the same outfit that syndicates Stephanie Miller and Ed Schultz.
He's pretty much on the same radio stations, with the same schedule, as before.
Go to www.thomhartmann.com for all of the details.

Miller and Schultz are syndicated through the Jones Radio Network.
Hartmann's deal with AAR was always somewhat different, as he actually owned the content of his own shows and licensed them to Air America for syndication. So, he was more of a free agent than some of the other hosts. It was widely speculated that he would go entirely on his own after the Randi Rhodes fiasco last year.
The fact is, progressive radio has become a much larger market, both in terms of stations and of providers, than it was five years ago. Now, Air America Media is just one of many players, not the only game in town.

it changed its name. Jones became Dial-Global. The deal closed last summer.

Isn't it time they stopped delaying Mike Malloy's program?
Nobody knows if or when Randi Rhodes is coming back, but even if she did, her show would be delayed anyway. They should air live radio when ever at all possible, and they do so with Stephanie Miller, Thom Hartmann and Ron Reagan (whose show actually originates from their studio.)
My internet connection was down for a few days, so I was unable to hear Malloy's show in real time on another stream, and it was getting ridiculous with KPTK playing the exact same episode of the Peter B Collins show every night this week. Not that I have anything against Peter B, but the same show 5 days in a row? Why bother using that as a "place holder" for the missing Randi, when they could air Malloy live in the same time period?

| 6. ...and stopped broadcasting Cougar Sports!!!! |
|
I confess to rooting for the Cougs basketball team because of listening to AM 1090, (Thank you Baines and Rochesty), but really, sports has little to do with political talk radio and 'WAZZU' is hardly in a region known for supporting progressive thought!
