EVERETT, Wash. - Five Washington state baristas charged customers to touch their breasts and buttocks at an espresso stand where servers wear bikinis to draw business, police said.

The five were charged Wednesday with prostitution. Charging money for that kind of touching falls under the city's definition of prostitution.

The Everett Herald reports the women were charging up to $80 to strip down while fixing lattes and mochas.

During a two-month investigation, detectives also saw the women lick whipped cream off each other and pose naked for pictures at the Grab-n-Go Espresso stand in Everett, about 30 miles north of Seattle.

Owner Bill Wheeler told KCPQ-TV employees sign a policy prohibiting the kind of behavior alleged by police. He said anyone caught doing anything illegal would be fired.

The women, ages 18 to 24, were not arrested, said Sgt. Robert Goetz. They were expected to be in Municipal Court in a few weeks to answer misdemeanor charges.

40 complaints
Police have received more than 40 complaints in the past year of women exposing themselves at coffee stands. Goetz said the department investigated Grab-n-Go because it had the most complaints.

If it is truly and purely voluntary for those workers to shed their clothes, that is a different story entirely. But I doubt hey can get or keep the job unless they wear the bikini.

But letting people touch your boobs for money is just another way to sell your body. Though not intercourse, it is a sexual favor. that said, prostiution should be legalized anyway.

When I go to get a latte' I usually don't want boobs shoved in my face. The girls are sassy and fun, so I don't want to screw that up with a distracting, unfulfillable lust. I'm also married and don't want to get banned 4 life. I got sent to one of the bikini stands by my baristas and told to report back to them. They chose not to go that route. The nearest one usually has a line of pick-up trucks in front of it most of the day.

These girls were making up to $80 per latte' in tips. All I can say is "So what?" The women are good at their game and flirting is an easy way to separate men from their money. As long as everyone goes home safe, there's no problem. If there's some consensual sex of the side, well, no government is ever gonna regulate mutual attraction.

Of the latte stands in the area, I'd guess the majority were underwear or bikini girl.
Someone started loosing money in the latte business and decided that scantily clad babes would make up the difference made by bad location, poor service and weak coffee. Didn't quite work, because the busiest stands are still the ones that are in good locations with easy access.
While there isn't anything wrong with scantily clad ladies, they can't compete with good coffee.

The least of which is girls at other stands who don't want to be grabbed will be targets for abuse and unwanted solicitations as well as you can bet the city council will start making stricter laws, and maybe even close down espresso stands. This is a time when adults are trying to get any job they can, including fast food joints and espresso stands.

This reminds me of the dumbshit's prostituting out of massage parlors. I have a friend who is a masseuse and he can't stop telling me how bad that's been for the legitimate business folk. The women he works with get unwanted sex solicitations all the time and often from guys that get angry with them for not being game.
