New Local Eating store in Burien

As the name strongly suggests, you can buy a variety of locally produced food and drink items at Eat Local on Queen Anne Hill, and now at their new store in Burien. Eat Local owner Greg Connor has been buying meats from Thundering Hooves for over a year now, which he retails by the cut and also uses in preparing ready-to-heat-and-serve appetizers, entrees, sides and deserts. All of the prepared meals are made from scratch in their kitchen.

The new Burien store is spacious and features a large Thundering Hooves mural on one wall accompanied by racks of wine and soulful jazz playing in the background. Greg has offered their large parking area as a delivery site for a new buying club every other Friday morning at 10:30 a.m.. We already use their Queen Anne location for a buying club every other Friday at noon.

If you have never visited Eat Local, it is a real treat. Both stores carry a wide variety of Thundering Hooves meats. The Burien store is located at 810 151st Street and the Queen Anne store is at 2400 Queen Anne Avenue.
