9th CD Progressive Democrats of America chapter forms

In addition to being the 9th Congressional District point person for Progressive Democrats of America (PDA), I have recently stepped in as host and organizer of the Olympia/Thurston County chapter of Democracy for America (DFA). Walt and Karen Bowen did a great job starting, organizing and hosting this DFA chapter for the past five years, and as they move on to other pursuits, we sincerely thank them for their time, energy and efforts and truly wish them well!


Because of the momentum built in holding regularly-scheduled monthly dinner (no-host/buy your own) meetings of progressives on these first Wednesday nights, we’re continuing this tradition and inviting fellow progressives to join us.

Our next meeting is scheduled for tomorrow, Wednesday, April 7th from 6:30 to 8:45 P.M. at the liberals-supporting i.talia Pizzeria, located between Borders Books and Best Buy in West Olympia.

For tomorrow night's meeting, in addition to discussing current events, politics, and other timely issues, we'll be planning the format and structure of future meetings and activities and strategically plan our next steps as progressives. We truly invite your input!
