UW is cutting resident admissions while
courting non-residents, because they pay more. Could an initiative put a halt to this? Has anyone broached the idea publicly?

1. Good thought, but the basic problem is that our regressive tax system sucks
Unfortunately, people prefer FEELING like they are paying less in taxes to actually paying less in taxes, so 1098 went down.
