Don't forget Seattle's Pride Parade this weekend

Sunday, starting at 11 a.m. or thereabouts begins one of the nation's largest Gay Pride parades (no, it doesn't compare to New York or San Francisco, but it's one of the largest after those two). Watch for me marching with the Seattle Lesbian and Gay Chorus in position #49! We'll also be performing one song at the rally following the parade, on the big stage at Volunteer Park, sometime around 1:30, along with several other choruses, including the famous Seattle Men's Chorus.

Come up and say hi! (I'm hard to miss - red hair down to my hips.) I'd love to see some fellow DU'ers out supporting our LGBT brethren.

1. For years we lived on First Hill, near Broadway & Pike

And we loved sitting out on our deck and watching the parade as it worked its way up Broadway. I'll miss it this year, but I'll be there in spirit with you all!:hi:
