| "Puffy Jim" Sensenbrenner: "Paul Hamm played by the rules..." |
|
"...and now South Korea is going to court to try and change those rules."
What about your boy in the White House, Jim?? Al Gore played by the rules in 2000. Why didn't you climb out from under your rock to defend him too??

I do agree with F. Jim on this one -- it's like football. If you think the referees made a mistake, you can challenge. But there are limits and time frames for challenges -- if you notice when reviewing film that your guy did indeed have his foot inside the line, you can't call the NFL and ask them to award the game to you instead.
But -- if Paul Hamm's friends and neighbors weren't the ones voting for F. Jim, would he as chair of the Judiciary Committee care otherwise? If Michael Phelps was involved in a dispute, would Sensenbrenner be trying to hold hearings? Where is he on the Marion Jones doping-by-association scandal? Huh?

Jim's right - but the only reason he's right is the fact that it's an election year.
