| Kerry and Nader in Madison, same day |
|
Kerry at 1 PM at a location TBA (probably either Capitol Square or Camp Randall Stadium)
Nader at 7 PM at either Memorial Union Theater or Humanities Building.
Our goal for the Kerry rally (College Democrats, which I joined two days ago, is playing a large role in organizing it) is apparently 70,000 people. When Gore came we got 30,000 and this election is at least twice as important. So I think we should be able to do that. Especially if some of the flatlanders who will never see Kerry (since he's already got Illinois locked up) decide to make the trip.

but I doubt it. They're currently scheduled to speak 6 hours apart on opposite sides of the campus. Madison was one of the biggest supporters of Nader in the last election though, and if he can't get many people to show up even here, then he might as well drop out.

| 4. Whoa, keep us posted on the numbers who do show for Nader |

I don't get that kind of info out here in the hinterlands and I'd be very interested.
If I didn't have to work, I'd come to Madison to see for myself.
Congrats on joining the college Dems. If you can stay motivated, it's a good way to influence those twenty-somethings to vote.
