A couple of my coworkers told me they were finding them last week.

I was hoping someone would blow it and drop a hint as to where they hunt... Around here last week was too dry. I've been checking my spot everyday for the last two weeks and finally found three today. Then I went hunting in another spot where there should have been some but no. Looks like rain tonight so I will be in the woods tomorrow at sunrise.

When I was a kid, I remember picking them with my grandparents. We all hopped in the car and went walking through the woods on the backside of the family farm. Brought home the equivalent of a feed sack full - at least that's what I thought at the time. Things always look so much bigger when you're 7.
