I know it's from a couple of weeks ago, but I'm surprised there is no banter on here about it. This is the issue that will make or break Doyle's re-election.

Not sure yet. There are some "sleepers" in this budget that are going to piss off a lot of people.

I'm still concerned about the 6% assessment against HMOs....that is NOT popular among either Repubs or Dems in this heavily medically oriented city......

4. It's not perfect, but it's better than Gard's idea

They say politics is the art of the possible. I do not think a perfect plan is possible with the state legislature in primarily Republican hands.

At least the schools are going to be happy.

so could have Accenture
