just received this e-mail from my son:

Dad:

Just a head's up that there may be some severe threat to watch for later
this afternoon. I'd watch primarily to the south, as some fairly strong
cells seem to be developing in southern WI and moving north/northwest
vaguely in your direction. Probably later tonight and tomorrow is when the
the west might be a threat. I don't see anything that looks too strong
right now, but you'll wanna keep an eye out. Here's two mesoscale
