What's the deal with CHOI?

Are they back on until the 8 months of their current license runs out or are they back for good?

I just heard this morning that Jeff Fillion used to work in radio "in Florida" which I take to mean either he worked with Rush Limbaugh or just was heavily influenced by Limbaugh.

From what I have read, CHOI has made a free speech issue out of this but of course, fascists don't believe in free speech nearly as much as they believe in hate speech. I think it would be a mistake to back off of Killion now -- look at the problems we have with the media here in the US. People treated Limbaugh like a bad joke and now hate radio nearly dominates the morning airwaves.

QUEBEC CITY - A federal court has made it official—CHOI-FM can continue broadcasting after its licence expires at the end of this month.
The controversial radio station has reached an agreement with the CRTC to keep broadcasting until a final decision comes down about the fate of the station.
The commission writes that it will continue to recognize CHOI-FM's current licence until the court's final decision, which won't be until next March.
