Anyone curling this year?

Do you curl in any kind of league?

I used to watch my buddies on Sunday mornings sometimes, then after the games where over I'd give it a shot. I was gonna join this year... but I'm unavailable.

1. My dad was a really avid curler

But I never got into it. I really enjoyed watching, still do, but for some reason never wanted to play it. I'd tag along to bonspiels and sit in the warm viewing area all day, drinking Coke, munching on fries and gravy. I can still hear the rumbling and sweeping, back then they used REAL brooms, not those candy-ass brush things. I remember those Rink Rat synthetic brooms, man did they make a racket. BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM all the way down the sheet.

Sorry, I'm rambling, you just opened a floodgate of memories.

Didja see the thing on History TV about the 1972 hockey series? Didja see me? Actually, I don't show up on the show :( but Mom has lots of photos, maybe I'll scan some one of these days.
