DiManno: Canadians breathtaking at Skate Canada
KITCHENER – Shall we dance, Canada?

Few nations are better at it these days — at least on the ice.

Four Canadians climbed on to the podium Sunday, seizing a widely-anticipated gold and a here-we-come bronze, in the final event of this weekend's Skate Canada.

National champions, silver-and-bronze world medalists, Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir were absolutely breathtaking in their balletic yet daringly athletic free skate, performed to Mahler's Symphony No. 5, unveiling innovative moves in a discipline that seems starved for genuine creativity.
