1. If we win the gold in hockey tomorrow we will have the all-time

record for gold medals won in a winter Olympics by any country. Whatever help they had financially to help with training etc. has certainly made a difference. From now on, if we continue to finance our athletes I hope we don't continue with that ridiculous, un-Canadian name for it...."owning the podium". They simply have to say we are helping our athletes to excel.
