Prentice plans end-run around 'aggressive press'

Environment Minister Jim Prentice is planning to "push back" against criticism of policies announced in this week's federal budget as well as media coverage in the "aggressive press," a government official said Tuesday.

In an internal strategy e-mail, obtained by Canwest News Service, Prentice's media spokesman explained the minister was planning damage control against anticipated attacks on environmental policies arising in the budget.
