Shona Holmes's ad lying about Canadian healthcare on CNN

I posted this on General Discussion and am repeating it here:

The ad Shona Holmes did for American right wingers was based on a lie. This ad, where Shona says she would have died in Canada with a brain cancer because the government wouldn't allow her timely treatment is a bald-faced lie.. In the first place she didn't have a brain tumor!. What she had (and the reason why she was given a few months to wait in Canada) was a condition called Rathke's Cleft Cyst, on her pituitary gland. "Rathke's Cleft Cysts are not true tumors or neoplasms; instead they are benign cysts." The medical community in Ontario, where she lives, knew this and scheduled other, urgent cases ahead of her for surgery....which is quite reasonable.
Not only was this TV ad played all over the U.S.A., but she has been interviewed on Fox TV and other places, spewing her lies.
I wonder how many Americans have seen this lying ad and believed it.
Since she was unmasked in Canada, as a liar, we have seen nothing more of her....but apparently the anti health care people in the U.S.A. have dug her up again!
P.S....At the present time I am going through some health problems and thank God I am receiving great care and I don't have to worry about bills!

Why doesn't she move down to a teabagger hotspot if she's into the lying, poor, poor me, BAD Canadian health-care thing. She didn't give a rat's ass about all those people who SHOULD have been ahead in line of her, those with tumors that did require urgent treatment. I'm so glad her disgusting propaganda was unmasked here, it's too bad they're using that ad again. Maybe what she really meant to say was she needed a new brain and Canada couldn't supply one ...... yeah, that's it.

3. Dana Bash's report on CNN is very revealing.

When she was in Ontario gathering her information, she had to have heard of the fact that Shona Holmes is lying and has been discredited here in Canada....but she never mentions this in her supposedly thorough investigation.
Obviously, CNN is against universal health care and that is why they continue to run the ad. I've seen it a couple of times on CNN since I first posted this.
Disgusting!
