In other words any old lie would have done. :grr:
The key thing here is that Britain went to war essentially because the prime minister of the day felt like having a war and the political classes in Britain were either unable or unwilling to hold the prime minister to account. The key question now is how to reform things so that in future our leaders will have to answer for their actions. Things were made far too easy for Blair by a careerist-stuffed parliament more interested in serving themselves and their whips rather then their own constituents.
