http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-11056581So should all video games based on wars not allow players to play the opposition? I remember even the icky Civilization II allowed me to play the German invasion of the UK and the US.

He's entitled to his own opinion about the game (and everything else) but only as a citizen, not as a politician with influence on the law-making process.
If he doesn't want to buy the game, no-one should force him to do so. Similarly, if someone *does* want to buy the game, Fox shouldn't be able to prevent them from doing so (*).
( (*) = within the existing age restrictions, etc.,)

This would create a bit of a problem for all forms of war gaming/ re-enactment! Which of course did not even begin with video games.
