...if Bush wins. A little known part of the Patriot Act allows the Bush Administration to assume anyone who has ever posted on DU to be considered enemies of the state and hunted down like snakes. (Hmmm, or was that just a nightmare I had last night?)

Not. The reactions I've seen to 'freedom fries' vary from outrage (from a drunken canal tour boat driver I talked to in a bar) to mild irritation. They Belgians are very proud of their fries.

NONE of you will be in Paris, as I expect EVERY ONE OF YOU to be immigrating to New Zealand. That's an ORDER, kiddies.

Though depressingly under our counter-terrorist law the government here could just declare DU to be a terrorist organisation and investigate all posters and donaters. Yes, they technically need "evidence", but if any of you would care to investigate the sad tale of Ahmed Zaoui, prepare to be depressed.

I myself will be in Paris on Christmas Eve, as my parents are taking me there for 2 weeks as my 21st birthday gift. Oh, and then it's on to Berlin, Prague, Munich and Vienna. Wheeeeee!
Speaking of which I should find people up with whom to meet whilst overseas. None of you ever come here, no matter how much I plug it! :evilfrown:
