In my home state, I pushed everyone I know (young and old alike) to vote for Kerry in the election. Don't blame me, I did my part. If you think the fact that our guy didn't win gives you the right to attack people of my age, then you have another think coming.

| 1. I'm 25. I voted. I convinced and converted others. |
|
Of course, I am in New Jersey, where Kerry won without much difficulty. Though for a while it was a supposed Swing State. I blogged. I posted. I wrote articles and essays (which convinced or at least caused concern for many Bush supporters and non-voters, if my inbox is to be believed). I'm a 25 year old American. But I'm no match for Diebold.
At least, not alone.

| 2. Thanks for your help. My 13 yr old son helped out a bunch |
|
in canvassing with MoveonPAC to help us carry PA.
But I feel he may have been too involved and suffer much ridicule from his freeper classmates (this is a repuke area).

| 3. I know lots of young people who got out to vote, |

who got out the vote. We are really only responsible for our own selves. Blaming a demographic is lame, I agree.

I took the entire south. And I do blame the south and the media. But of course not the Southerners who voted for Kerry. Or the young people who did vote.

Thank you for your part. I work with a young lady. Age 26. I gave her all kinds of information from both sides. She leaned more towards John Kerry and so I gave her more information re Democrats. Yesterday, I excitedly went to work and asked her how it felt to vote. Her reply.... I didn't like either, so I didn't vote. Neither one of them were good enough. You can imagine my outrage. Even moreso, I'm NOT an American Citizen, just newly married to an American, BUT I did everything in my power to canvass and inform. Tis a sad day indeed. I couldn't vote and wanted to , she had the priveledge and didn't. How sad.

We were just hoping for a recognition.
Its a resounding "whack to the face" of liberal education to have Bush re-elected on a scale such as this.
The un-importance to the younger people of america is what hurts. Not that it was everyone - but the turnout simply wasn't there after we felt the emotion and drive was.

I certainly don't blame you. I am just terribly afraid that all the enthusiasm we engendered in you marvelous young people will die because of the defection and I hope you will continue to try to make this country better than it obviously thinks it can be. Love and kisses. Keep on keeping on.

| 9. I don't blame young people or anyone else... |

There were more of their votes counted than ours. Simple. It doesn't fall on any one voting block. I can only hope we have the numbers in 2008 and that we are all still around to vote.
