I've got some really, really well connected friends up in Wisconsin (like people I'm sure would have a direct line to Feingold and others)....tried to get them fired up about this, tried to get them to mobilize their networks and resources (he is former high-ranking gov official, has been working as financial consultant to other million-billionaires for years now--most of them Dems).... their response: Well, we read a very plausible explanation for all this in the NYT magazine, and we just think we lost the election fair and square. They think I'm nuts. Thanks again, NYT, for killing another one of my 20-year long friendships.
